Netcong Students Excel At Drew Science Fair:
On Saturday, April 30th, 31 Netcong students participated in the Fair for Emerging Researchers sponsored by Drew University. Students had to present two times to two different panels of judges. There were a total of 57 projects presented at the fair from multiple schools. Seven participants were selected to present in the 3rd and final round and our own fifth grader, Malin Szewczyk was a finalist! He did a great job presenting and was awarded a $25 prize for being a finalist. In addition, 5th grader Regina Antwi and 6th grader Elise Rojas were awarded Honorable Mention and received a $10 prize. Congratulations!!!!!!!

Netcong School District is pleased to offer a FREE comprehensive summer learning program for students currently enrolled in Netcong School who are entering grades 1 through 8 in September 2022. Parents can sign up their child(ren) for as many sessions as they desire. Registration is open now and closes on Friday, May 13th. Click on the links below for more information.

NEF - Scholarship Fundraiser:
The Netcong Education Foundation is having a scholarship fundraiser on May 20, 2022, at Jersey Girl Brewing Company. All proceeds to the event will benefit the Skylands Rotary Foundation and the Netcong Education Foundation Scholarship & Academic Awards. Both organizations provide scholarships to a graduating eighth-grader from Netcong Elementary School each year.

Free Child Health Clinic & Vaccinations For Netcong Residents:
The Mount Olive Health Department has been hosting weekly COVID-19 vaccination clinics throughout our service areas. Upcoming vaccine clinics are as follows:
Wednesday May 11th 9:30 AM-10:30 AM @ Mt. Arlington Elks Lodge. Doses available for 12+!
Thursday May 12th 5:30 PM-6:30 PM @ Wharton American Legion. Doses available for 5+!
Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be offered at each clinic for ages 12 and up. Pfizer pediatric doses for ages (5+) will be offered at select clinics with details found on our flyers and social media platforms. Registration is encouraged for clinics; walk-ins are acceptable but are subject to vaccine availability.
